We're undertaking a unique exhibit next month, at least unique for our area to my knowledge. It's called "A Good Soldier" and will be a tribute in art to our veterans. We had wanted to host the opening reception on Veterans Day but that was a pretty crowded day, we discovered. So we settled on November 19, which is a good symbolic date since it falls between Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day. Participating artists include myself, John and Amber Stidham, Maggie Barrett, Jessica Morgan, Steve Close and Thea McElvy. We're also excited to have the show sponsored by Wellstar West Georgia and the Newnan High School history club. We hope to see you there and look forward to making this an annual November tradition.
